Over several months, the men worked alongside the team from Central Saint Martins, learning about the creative process from initial idea to final design. They sketched, experimented, developed new techniques and, piece by piece, transformed denim jackets into garments that reflected their own stories, identities and creativity.

The programme concluded with something truly special.

More than 50 guests from across the fashion industry joined us inside the prison for the first event of its kind. For one afternoon, the prison became a runway and creativity took centre stage.

The show opened with live music before the men stepped onto the catwalk wearing their own designs. Watching them walk with confidence, knowing that every jacket had been created by their own hands, was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people are given the opportunity to learn, create and be seen differently.

The event also included honest conversations with the men about their experiences of the programme and what working with Central Saint Martins had meant to them. Hearing them speak about their creative journeys, the skills they had developed and the confidence they had gained was every bit as inspiring as the fashion itself.

This programme was never only about making clothes. It was about self-expression, collaboration and showing the men that their ideas have value. It was about opening doors into an industry that can often feel out of reach, while reminding everyone in the room that talent exists everywhere—it sometimes simply needs the opportunity to be discovered.
